Kim Johnson

My husband, Charlie, and I have lived in Lone Tree and the PMMD since 2002. Prior to that we lived in Highlands Ranch for 5 years having moved from Illinois.
As a dentist, I started and owned my family dental practice in Colorado from 1997-2017. I was the groundbreaking first female president of my University of Minnesota School of Dentistry coed dental fraternity, served on the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society Marketing Committee, and since have volunteered to fundraise for water wells in Africa, served as a Neighborhood Watch Block Captain, and coordinated donations for Coats for Colorado and for the Colorado Pet Pantry.
Currently I proudly serve on the Carriage Club HOA Executive Board as Vice President, and have held the President position for many years as well. Volunteering on this Board has been an invaluable experience. Over more than 14 years I have worked with 4 HOA landscape companies on our nearly 25 acres of land, and with several monument flower professionals as a Landscape Committee member as well. I share that responsibility with our Carriage Club HOA Landscape Manager, Martha Sippel, who is currently the PMMD President.
I vividly recall the feeling that driving through Lone Tree and the PMMD area gave me. The many well-manicured medians were so impressive and our friends and family visiting us would always comment about how they noticed the beauty of the medians and how unique they are. The upkeep of where we call home also elicits a sense of “newness” that contributes to our home values and the desire for people to live in and visit our community. I look forward to keeping our aesthetic, maintaining traffic flow, and doing so with financial responsibility.
